Cali's BBQ at East Coast was pretty amazing. I probably have been in ECP for the most number of times within six months in my lifetime. Not that I am complaining, it is a pretty cool place to soak in some sun rays and go cycling (HINT). I realized how I am no longer a chronoptimist anymore; I can estimate nicely the amount of time I need to travel around for appointments which is great because now I wait for friends more instead of the other way round. I'm beginning to get used to my new pace, or rather old pace of life before my work at RE. No more rushing against time, no more talking in caps lock voice. Just do things I like and as and when I feel like it.
Yeah anyway it was a great BBQ. I finally met Erin, whom I seriously could not recognize because I was too used to talking to her picture in Facebook few months back when she still had longish hair. MC was there too, surprise surprise. Absolutely guilty seeing him because our ramen date was set since eons ago and no exact date and place settled. It was fun just eating and laughing with all the peeps at the same place. Nice gathering definitely Cali!
Oh, of course we threw a mini birthday celebration for Mr Shuang with melted Canele chocolate cake as well! Neo, you owe me $3 Gloria Jean's! Hehe.
Ended the night with ice cream in Mr Poh's car, driving along KPE. SIMS 3!

Celebrated Saturday with french toast.
Maxwell lunch
Tian Tian chicken rice - It's all about the chilli baby.
popiah, rojak, carrot cake, banana fritter, curry rice.
All that before I went for Bikram. Amazed? Me too. I didn't even had my ondeh ondeh yet, and muffins from Amoy.
URA building across the street was pretty cool. Check this model map out. I think it should be in the "must-visit" list for the tourists!
Rushed to Bikram with all that food in the stomach. Subway dinner - $5.90 sandwich too good to miss.
Friday night means.. date with Audrey!
We visited Bliss at Punggol Park and that place is amazing. Due to financial constraints, I wanted to settled for Teh C and chicken wings at 401 initially. Audrey managed to persuade me to try out Bliss instead and oh my, I have missed out in the past. I love that place! The serving staff were everywhere but at least I don't have to catch their attention like how I need to at Grapevine. Everyone there seems relaxed. A mix of the mature and the young. Music was good. No mozzies. Cooling at the al fresco area with the nice water view (very important). They don't overcharge for the food and drinks, and no pesky 10% service charge at the end of the bill.
We tried the Spicy Fiery Wings and fries. Wings was good, like what ladyironchef reviewed before. I am still hung up for Sunset Grill's wings but these will satisfy my wings craving for the time being.
I still love my 401 chicken wings ok!

I hung out with my fave GL sister after Bikram with chiu. We pratically floated back home after the session. Borat and Koko Krunch soon!
$15 calendar...
Happy Daddy's Day dinner with fish head. After having the one at Chinatown, I used that place as my standard already and this one just did not make the mark. Better stick to XO fish head noodles and claypot hor fun here. I miss my big prawn omelette and fresh fish head at Chinatown. Togi too - Spicy rice cakes!
No wonder the mom said I gained weight.
